Under the Apron Strings: Easy Brownie Pie for Thanksgiving Dessert

This fudgy, deep-dish brownie pie is my go-to dessert for entertaining. It comes together quickly, which makes it perfect for easing the stress of holiday baking. Using a pre-made crust makes it all the easier.
Over the years, I have tested many different brownie pie recipes but always come back to this one, which I top off with fresh whipped cream or homemade ice cream and a fresh sprig of mint.
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup salted butter, melted
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 regular frozen or pre-made pie crust (9 inch)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bring the pie crust to room temperature.
Press crust into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch ceramic pie pan. Prick the bottom and sides of the crust with tines of a fork.
Bake for 4 minutes. Remove from oven.
In the order stated above, mix ingredients using a whisk just until fully combined.
Do not over mix.
Pour chocolate combination into par-baked crust.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until set.
Cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
